Terms of Service & Sale

1. Purpose

These terms of service and sale ("Terms") govern access to and use of the CVPocket service, published by FORMAESENS (see legal notice), which lets you create, tailor, and export ATS-optimized resumes, track your job applications, and prepare for interviews. They apply to every user of the site ("the User"), whether on a free or paid plan.

2. Acceptance

Using CVPocket implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use the service.

3. Access to the Service and Account Creation

Creating and tailoring a resume is accessible without an account. An account (email address and password) is only required at the moment of downloading the resume. The User agrees to provide accurate information and to keep their credentials confidential.

4. Plan Description and Pricing

CVPocket offers the following plans (prices including tax, excluding occasional promotions):

  • Free (€0): unlimited resume creation, unlimited job-posting tailoring, real-time ATS score. Downloading (PDF/DOCX), application tracking, and interview preparation are reserved for paid plans.
  • 1 month (€9/month): full access, no commitment.
  • 3 months (€19, i.e. ~€6.33/month): full access.
  • 1 year (€39, i.e. ~€3.25/month): full access, priority access to new features.

The prices displayed on the site at the time of subscription are binding.

5. Payment

Payments are processed exclusively by our provider Stripe, which also manages the secure storage of payment methods. CVPocket does not store any banking data. Paid plans are subscriptions charged automatically at the start of each period (monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the plan chosen).

6. Duration, Renewal, and Cancellation

The subscription is automatically renewed at each due date (monthly, quarterly, or annually), unless cancelled by the User before the renewal date. Cancellation can be done at any time, free of charge and without justification, directly from the account area (Stripe customer portal accessible from the CVPocket account). It takes effect at the end of the current, already-paid period: no pro-rata refund is issued for the period already underway, but access remains active until it ends.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not provided on a physical medium whose performance has begun after the User's prior express agreement and express waiver of their right of withdrawal. By subscribing to a paid plan and immediately accessing the service, the User acknowledges and accepts this waiver. Outside of this case, the User has 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal by contacting contact@cvpocket.com.

8. Refund Policy

Except where required by law (see article 7) or as an exceptional goodwill gesture granted at its discretion, CVPocket is not required to refund a subscription period already begun or used. In the event of a clear billing error, contact contact@cvpocket.com so we can review your request.

9. AI-Generated Content

Tailored resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation generated by AI are provided as assistance only. The User remains solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and relevance of the information contained in the documents they download or send to third parties (recruiters, employers). CVPocket guarantees no outcome (landing an interview, getting a job) tied to the use of the service.

10. Intellectual Property

The CVPocket platform (code, design, brand) is the exclusive property of FORMAESENS. Content that the User enters or generates (resumes, cover letters) belongs to them.

11. Liability

CVPocket implements reasonable measures to ensure the availability and security of the service, without guaranteeing a total absence of interruptions. CVPocket cannot be held liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the service, nor for decisions made by third parties (recruiters) based on the documents generated.

12. Changes to These Terms

CVPocket may amend these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of any material change. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, a consumer User may use, free of charge, a consumer mediator: [NAME AND CONTACT DETAILS OF THE CONSUMER MEDIATOR — to be completed]. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts shall have jurisdiction.
